When the manufacture of Invercote began in 1963 no one could have imagined that this high-quality paperboard from a small town in northern Sweden would become a global product chosen by demanding designers in the graphics and packaging industries to carry their creative solutions. This year, 2013, is the fiftieth anniversary of the launch of Invercote. To mark the occasion Iggesund Paperboard pays tribute to all the creative designers who have helped to make Invercote a global leader now sold in over 100 countries. The tribute includes this new song from Sweden’s hottest rock group of that same year Invercote was born, 1963: The Spotnicks.
The Invercote Theme is written and played by the lads who always performed in space suits and whose twangy guitar sound put the world at their feet.
