Sedan en tid tillbaka finns en officiell hemsida för The Spotnicks tillgänglig.
Låt mig direkt meddela att det inte finns någon konflikt mellan mig och The Spotnicks som föranleder öppnandet av en officiell hemsida. Det är dock mycket troligt att det kommer att få konsekvenser för min egen hemsida. Den startade jag redan 1994 – i samband med Internets genomslag i Sverige och i Världen – och har väl sedan dess av många ansetts vara The Spotnicks ”officiella” hemsida. Jag har hela tiden försökt att hålla den uppdaterad och intressant genom att publicera nyheter, turnéplaner etc. Det är nog meningen att den nyetablerade hemsidan ska ta över sådan information och då återstår att se om det längre finns något behov för den här gamla varianten. Tiden får utvisa…
Det är i alla fall säkrast att ni kollar upp turnéplaner m.m. på den officiella hemsidan i fortsättningen eftersom jag inte kan garantera att jag har tillgång till det senaste.
Att man nu väljer ett professionellt upplägg på en officiell site är väl inte särskilt förvånande. Det är egentligen mer förvånande att det inte har skett långt, långt tidigare.

For some time, there is an official website for The Spotnicks available.
Let me immediately announce that there is no conflict between me and The Spotnicks causing the opening of an official website. However, it is very likely that it will have effect on my own website. I started it back in 1994 – in conjunction with the Internet’s impact in Sweden and in the World – and since then by many has been considered to be the ”official” website of The Spotnicks. I have always tried to keep it updated and interesting with news, tour plans, etc. It’s very likely that the newly established website will take over this kind of informations and it remains to be seen if there is any need left for this old version. Time will tell …
In any case, you’d better check up tour plans etc. on the official website in the future because I can’t guarantee having the lastest informations.
It’s not particularly surprising that they now want a professional set-up on their official site. It’s actually more surprising it was not done much, much earlier.
