Tack Bo och Bob!

Den 30 mars gjorde The Spotnicks, med Bo Winberg och Bob Lander, sin sista konsert inför ett utsålt Musikens Hus i Göteborg.
Det var en fin upplevelse med blandade känslor. Vemodigt och känslosamt men också ganska logiskt.
Har man passerat 80 respektive 77 år och har underhållit miljontals människor i över 60 år så är båda dessa fantastiska musiker väl unnade att avsluta sina karriärer vilket de gjorde i stil denna kväll.
Det är bara att tacka för en otrolig resa från tidigt 60-tal fram till nu tillsammans med detta unika och världsberömda band och för den ovärderliga musikskatt som The Spotnicks har skapat.
Som väl är så finns det nästan 800 inspelade låtar att lyssna och minnas till.
En speciell tanke vill jag även ägna i denna stund åt Björn Thelin och Ove Johansson.
Tack också till alla andra musiker som har medverkat i The Spotnicks under alla år!

On March 30, The Spotnicks, with Bo Winberg and Bob Lander, made its last concert for a sold out Musiken Hus in Gothenburg.
It was a nice experience with mixed feelings. Sad and emotional but also quite logical.
If you have passed 80 and 77 years and have entertained millions of people for over 60 years, both these fantastic musicians are well pleased to finish their careers, which they did in style this evening.
It is just to thank for an incredible journey from the early 60s to the present along with this unique and world-famous band and for the invaluable music treasure which The Spotnicks have created.
It is very good to know that there are almost 800 recorded songs to listen to and remember.
I would like also to dedicate a special thought in this moment to Björn Thelin and Ove Johansson.
Thanks also to all the other musicians who have played with The Spotnicks during all those years!
