1962 – 63 The Spotnicks – Live in England

The Spotnicks medverkade i flera radio- och TV-shower i England från 1962 till 1964 i program som Parade Of The Pops, Easy Beat, Saturday Club och Thank Your Lucky Stars.
Tyvärr finns inga officiella inspelningar från dessa program sparade. Däremot finns dessa två privata inspelningar bevarade och de måste anses vara unika dokument av hur The Spotnicks internationella framgångar startade.

Det här är den första av två inspelningar av radioprogrammet ”Saturday Club” i BBC som sändes den 1 september 1962.
Inspelningen gjordes den 28 augusti.
Värd var Brian Matthew.
Det är inte den bästa ljudkvalitén men det kompenseras väl av dess sällsynthet.

The Spotnicks participated in several radio- and TV-shows in England from 1962 to 1964 on programmes such as Parade Of The Pops, Easy Beat, Saturday Club and Thank Your Lucky Stars. Unfortunately, no official recordings from these programs are saved. However, these two private recordings are preserved and they must be considered as unique documents of how The Spotnick’s international success started.

This is the first of the rebels two recordings of a radio broadcasting of the programme ’Saturday Club’ on BBC which was broadcasted on September 1, 1962.
The recording was made on August 28.
Host was Brian Matthew.
It is not the best sound quality but that is well compensated by its rareness.
